Not quite a bike, but a rickshaw powered by a human. In the old town this is the most common and cheapest form of transport, so I had a ride around, the guy riding the bike barely broke into a sweat, these are some fit people. There are thousands of rickshaws carrying people and products and deliveries all over town. I felt guilty the whole time, slightly less guilty when we stopped off at his "brothers" spice shop and then also his "brothers" silk shop in case I wanted to buy some souvenirs. And even though he ripped me off, it was the equivalent of a beer before football, and I know he needs that money more than I need that beer.
Anyway, a little video taster of the streets in Old Delhi - you need to have sound on to experience it.
It came to me as I was typing what made me feel so uncomfortable about the whole experience, it was this painting by Banksy.
